Cockatiels, Rise and Sing

[Verse]
Little crest raised when the morning comes
Soft feet tap where the sunbeam runs
You tilt your head, then you answer the day
With a bright small call that carries away

[Pre-Chorus]
Feathers lift, the whole room turns
A tiny heart with a wild note burns

[Chorus]
Cockatiels, rise and sing
Gold on your cheeks, brave little wings
Through the hush, your clear calls fly
Small bright sparks in a vast blue sky

[Outro]
Rest your crest as the day folds in
One last sweet call, then quiet again
