[Verse 1] You count the little marks like walls I hear a rhythm in them all A borrowed minute, yours to spend A starting line, not just an end [Pre-Chorus] The hands keep moving, so do we Each passing beat sets choices free [Chorus] The clock is not your enemy It gives the moment gravity Turn the limit, find your feet Let the ticking set the beat The clock is not your enemy We make a life in what we choose [Verse 2] A page won’t hold the whole design But every stroke can still be mine No need to stop the turning face I’ll meet the measure, make my space [Pre-Chorus] The hands keep moving, so do we Each passing beat sets choices free [Chorus] The clock is not your enemy It gives the moment gravity Turn the limit, find your feet Let the ticking set the beat The clock is not your enemy We make a life in what we choose [Bridge] One step, one breath, one open door The edge gives shape to something more I don’t outrun the time I’m in I move, I choose, I begin [Final Chorus] The clock is not your enemy It gives the moment gravity Turn the limit, find your feet Let the ticking set the beat The clock is not your enemy We make a life in what we choose [Outro] The clock is not your enemy Let the ticking set the beat
