[Verse 1] I went to sleep on Tuesday Woke up three years ahead Another skill became a button Another boundary declared dead Yesterday was science fiction Today it ships at half past nine By lunch we’re arguing ethics By dinner it’s normalized [Chorus] Tomorrow just updated And nobody asked me first I’m laughing at the miracles While preparing for the worst Everything is possible Everything is strange I’m trying to enjoy the ride While the tracks rearrange [Verse 2] I love the new abilities The speed, the reach, the scale I love watching impossible ideas Suddenly refuse to fail But I miss when the horizon Stayed still enough to see Now every answer breeds a question: Where does this leave me? [Bridge] Maybe nobody gets a map When history starts to run Maybe every generation Thinks the ending has begun So I’ll learn another language Build another thing tonight Half in love with what’s approaching Half afraid we’re flying blind [Final Chorus] Tomorrow just updated No undo and no delay I’m terrified of losing things And thrilled by what we gain
