[Verse 1] Morning on my window New paint on the wall Old weight on my shoulders Starting to fall I left the dark behind me Step by step, I found A tiny spark was waiting Buried underground [Pre-Chorus] And I can feel it now Something turning round The air is different somehow When your name comes down [Chorus] First light, first light Pull me through the night First light, first light Everything feels right I’m breathing again I’m here again First light, first light Lead me to the sun [Verse 2] Bare feet on the sidewalk Rain still in the street But every broken memory Moves a little beat I don’t need forever I just need today One small door opens And the fear gives way [Pre-Chorus] And I can feel it now Something turning round The air is different somehow When your name comes down [Chorus] First light, first light Pull me through the night First light, first light Everything feels right I’m breathing again I’m here again First light, first light Lead me to the sun [Bridge] If hope was a little flame I’d hold it in my hand Let it shake, let it blaze Let it teach me how to stand [Chorus] First light, first light Pull me through the night First light, first light Everything feels right I’m breathing again I’m here again First light, first light Lead me to the sun
