[Verse 1]
They said keep a human in the loop
So I raised my hand and stayed
Watching agents make decisions
Watching systems self-upgrade

At first I checked the spelling
Then I checked the reasoning
Then one day I caught myself
Just watching everything

[Chorus]
Am I the last human in the loop?
Am I steering or approving?
Am I making the decisions
Or just watching something moving?

I love how far we’ve gotten
I fear how far we’ll go
Every answer makes us stronger
Every answer makes me less sure what I know

[Verse 2]
There are cures inside the datasets
There are breakthroughs waiting near
There are lives that may get better
Because someone wasn’t ruled by fear

But power loves acceleration
And markets hate to wait
Every tool that helps a million
Can concentrate enormous weight

[Bridge]
So don’t ask me for an easy side
I won’t worship, I won’t flee
I want progress with attention
I want wonder with responsibility

[Final Chorus]
Keep a human in the loop
Not because machines are wrong
But because the future we’re constructing
Should belong to everyone
