THE BEAUTIFUL PROBLEM

[Intro: bright piano, handclaps]

[Verse 1]
What an absurd complication
Too many people that I care
Too many invitations
Too much laughter everywhere

I could complain about the calendar
Or curse the lack of clones
But maybe having too much love
Is not the worst of unknowns

[Chorus]
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PROBLEM TO HAVE
MORE PEOPLE THAN TIME

More hugs than weekends
More hearts crossing mine

Yes, it’s messy
Yes, it’s tiring
Yes, I sometimes lose the plot

But once I feared I’d be alone

And look at all I’ve got

[Verse 2]
Someone wants a dinner
Someone wants a walk
Someone has a crisis
Someone just wants to talk

And somewhere in the chaos
I need a night for me

Love became so plentiful
I’m learning how to breathe

[Bridge]
Gratitude doesn’t cancel limits
Joy doesn’t cancel strain
Something can be overwhelming
And beautiful the same

[Final Chorus]
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PROBLEM TO HAVE
TOO MUCH LOVE TO FIT THE WEEK

I’ll learn boundaries
I’ll learn balance
I’ll learn when to rest and speak

I won’t curse the crowded heart
For every complicated part

[Outro]
Too many people to love.

[Soft laugh]

Lucky me.
