[Intro: harbor bells, creaking wood, distant thunder ⚓] [The Harbor, warm low voice] Stay where the water knows your name. No dream is worth becoming rain. [Verse 1: Gentle Folk-Rock, acoustic guitar 🌤️] I built a life of sturdy rooms, A key for every door. A table set, a steady check, No wolves outside the floor. The days arrived predictably. The nights required no fight. Safety wrapped around my heart And held it almost tight. Beyond the glass, the vessels left For countries without names. Each sail became a question. Each lantern fed a flame. [The Horizon, distant harmony] You weren’t born to watch departures. You were born to leave the bay. [Chorus: Cinematic Rock, drums rising 🧭] The harbor says, “I’ll hold you.” The horizon says, “Become.” One promises tomorrow. One ignites what I might run from. If I stay, will I grow peaceful, Or just learn to call fear wise? If I sail, will I find meaning, Or watch everything capsize? There is no riskless future. There is no perfect sign. Every road protects one version While abandoning another life. [Verse 2: Maritime Waltz, accordion and strings 🌊] [The Harbor] Think of those who need you. Think of everything you’ve made. Ambition loves the sunlight, But forgets the debts it leaves unpaid. [The Horizon] Think of all your unlived years, Still sleeping past the foam. Security can guard a life That never feels like home. [Narrator] One voice sounds like wisdom. One resembles cowardice. One voice calls me forward. One might sell a dream at twice the price. [Genre Shift: Progressive Rock, shifting rhythm, dueling guitars ⚡] I studied every current. I calculated every storm. I waited for assurance Till indecision felt like form. But maps cannot discover What a traveler refuses. Time will choose a direction When the frightened never chooses. [Breakdown: Post-Hardcore, crashing waves] [Harbor] STAY! [Horizon] GO! [Narrator] HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW? [Harbor] KEEP WHAT’S YOURS! [Horizon] RISK THE SHORE! [Narrator] EVERY YES WILL CLOSE A DOOR! [Bridge: piano, storm suddenly quiet 🌙] Perhaps courage is not sailing. Perhaps caution is not chains. Some ambitions deserve burial. Some safe lives deserve their names. The choice is not between A hero and a frightened man. It is choosing which regret I am prepared to understand. [Final Chorus: Full Orchestra, choir, soaring guitar 🌅] The harbor still may hold me. The horizon still may lie. But I would rather test my wings Than spend my years describing sky. I will pack what I can carry. I will grieve what cannot come. Ambition has no guarantees, But safety promised none. There is no riskless future. So the choice must still be mine. I release the perfect answer. I will choose, then give it time. Not because the sea is kinder, Or the harbor has no worth. I am sailing toward the person Only movement brings to birth. [Outro: sails catching wind, heartbeat and gulls ⛵] [The Harbor] You may return. [The Horizon] You may transform. [Narrator] Raise the sail. [Final swell]
