[Verse 1] Woke up with the sun on my floor No alarms, just a knock on the door Coffee tasted like a lucky sign Found my shirt and it fit just right [Pre-Chorus] The little things lined up One by one I laughed at my own luck Before noon was done [Chorus] Today has been good Today has been good I keep on smiling Like I knew I would Today has been good Today has been good (So good, so good) You can feel it too [Verse 2] Got a green light all the way down Main My favorite song in the car again Text came in with a simple "hey" Made the whole blue sky brighter today [Pre-Chorus] The little things lined up One by one I laughed at my own luck Before noon was done [Chorus] Today has been good Today has been good I keep on smiling Like I knew I would Today has been good Today has been good (So good, so good) You can feel it too [Bridge] Even the hard parts Fell out of frame Nothing huge changed Still, I can't complain Small hands, warm breeze Easy to see Some days just open And carry me [Chorus] Today has been good Today has been good I keep on smiling Like I knew I would Today has been good Today has been good (So good, so good) You can feel it too
